Pattaya, Pattaya - so the song goes. Pattaya has evolved over the years to a resort that caters to men, women and families. This is kind of like Las Vegas years ago that initially catered to men, then women broke the barrier, and now, it is a playland for families.

I read more and more about rip offs and scams - in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket and more. Thais ripping off Farangs, Farangs taking advantage of their brothers, and the occasional foreigner ripping off a Thai.
With high season upon us, the roads become more dangerous. Not as bad as during Songkran, but still a lot of drunks and stupid drivers in Chiang Mai and throughout Thailand. Be careful out there - don't drink and drive and wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle. Have a fun and safe holiday.
